Lost a councillor?

Have you spotted a stray councillor wandering the streets of Fermanagh? Answering to the name Domhnall O’Cobhthaigh, he was last seen cuddling up the Socialist Party and complaining that his former Sinn Féin masters just weren’t looking after the working man.

If you see Domhnall, call Connolly House and help them retrieve their wayward son.

Living in NI for the last 12 years, I keep wondering why do Unionists have such primitive sense of humour? The Scots make great jokes, the Irish too, the English dry sense of humour is famous as well... Probably proves the point that you must be of yet some other origin. Or is it the desperate fear of mixing with other ethnic groups that brought you to the brink of mental and physical extinction?

Must be all that dour Ulster Scots that makes them all...well sour, dour Ulster Scots...of course they're all dull bores. But unless I'm missing something this blog seems to be an equal opportunity slagging off vehicle; either the humour isn't up to republican standards or it's crap! Still struggling with the idea that Norn Iron is bereft of humour/jokes though. Someone tell the BBC NI quick before they commission any more comedy series :)
